The Forest Halt is the tourist and educational hub of the Parc Naturel des Plaines de l’Escaut. Designed as the gateway to the Bon-Secours Forest, it welcomes families for tourist activities as well as school groups for educational workshops focused on nature.

How to get to the Forest Halt ?
The Forest Halt is located 3 kilometers from the Péruwelz train station. Once at Péruwelz station, you can reach the Forest Halt via TEC bus line 8.
Is parking available?
Parking is available nearby, with two designated accessible spaces for visitors with reduced mobility.
Is the Forest Halt accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Are dogs allowed on-site ?
Pets are only allowed in the reception area of the Forest Halt. Only guide dogs for the visually impaired are permitted in the visitor areas. In the forest, dogs must be kept on a leash.
Are there food and drink options available at the Forest Halt?
The Forest Halt does not offer catering services. However, we sell various local products at the reception desk, such as beers, ice creams, jams, etc. Picnic tables are also available on-site.
